For another year, the member of the bike friendly network Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort, in the context of the protection of the environment and the beaches of the Mediterranean, stars in the “Clean up the MED” action.

The action focuses on cleaning the Mediterranean coast and is an act of environmental sensitivity and social solidarity for its participants.

Volunteers, therefore, at Fodele Beach & Water Park, participated in “Clean up the MED”, an international campaign to clean the coasts of the Mediterranean.

Dozens of foreign visitors, together with the staff of the Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort hotel, carried out a voluntary cleaning of the beach, placing Fodele on the European map with the regions that participated in the action for 2024.

In this way Crete in general and Fodele Beach & Water Park Hotel in particular sent their own positive message to a public with strong environmental concerns who “traveled” through the posts made by Fodele Beach & Water Park customers Holiday Resort on social media.

It is recalled that the action “Clean up the MED” takes place every year in hundreds of coastal areas of the Mediterranean, causing the interest of the world public opinion, due to the massive participation of people of all ages, from different countries. The main purpose of this campaign is to raise public awareness of the need to protect the Mediterranean Sea. Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort participates every year in the action, which is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility actions implemented by the company.

Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort, is located 25 kilometers west of Heraklion International Airport, in a unique location, with breathtaking views. The hotel stretches over the unique 400 meter long sandy beach of the Fodele area, birthplace of the internationally renowned painter, Domenikos Theotokopoulos, known as El Greco.
